Our llamas would love to host your birthday event at our farm. When your group arrives you will meet the farm owners and engage in a "meet and greet" of all the animals. During this time we will provide you with a short Llamas 101 class where you will learn about what llamas are used for, how to handle them and a little bit about our operation.
Next, a member of our farm will lead your party on a short trek through the trees on the farm where each attendee will have the opportunity walk one of our friendlies companion llamas. On this trek at least one of our llamas will be suited up in a professional pack system.
When we return, we'll unharness the llamas and then introduce you to our small flock of sheep. Hopefully Howard (the naughty farm goat) won't get up to too many shenanigans while you're feeding the lambs snacks. Howard loves to stir up trouble.
We'll finish up your lesson by engaging in a craft using fiber from the llamas and/or sheep. Each attendee will be able to take this project home.
For the second hour you will have our 60 ' x 100' pasture available to you and your guests. We will fill it with handful of our beasts to make your time lla-mazing. Tables, chairs and garbage cans will be provided. We just ask that you leave our property in the same condition you find it. Food, decorations and other activities must be provided by guests.
All instruction will be led by Nick Hauptly, certified teacher. All adults working on Namaste Farm will have background checks completed and available upon request.
